SHOES TOO WIDE

If eyelets overlap, the foot may slip, causing discomfort and blisters.

Allowance can be made for leathers to stretch slightly during wear.

Extra creasing on uppers may result in premature breakdown of materials.

SHOES TOO LOOSE

Laces must be laced tightly and securely to avoid feet slipping.

Take extra care with lacing if wearing a flap or kiltie.

SHOES TOO DEEP

Too much leather causes extra creasing when flexing the foot and leads to excessive pressure on the instep and possibly early breakdown of materials.
LOOSE AT HEEL

Too much room at the heel will cause your foot to slip giving rise to discomfort and premature wear of linings.

Try a different size or see if a heel grip will help the shoe to fit snugly.
